In partnership with OTF’s Rapid Response Fund, we conducted a series of training sessions to help investigative journalists under digital surveillance and harassment to secure their digital assets and strengthen their organizational security.

The trainings included:

1. Risk Model & Organizational Security assessment

   • Risk analysis and development of an action plan and prevention protocols to protect their identities.
   • Advice on data protection, secure storage and transfer of sensitive information
   • Considerations and criteria for secure coding.

2. Best practices on Doxxing Prevention:

   • Best practices in Digital Security for investigative journalists at risk, security and phishing prevention
   • Guidelines on secure data handling and disposal.
   • Tips on reducing and protecting digital footprints.
